Information about personal data for customers

As a natural part of your agreement with Innovation Living, we will collect and process certain personal data.

These guidelines have been prepared by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), effective 25/5-18, as well as the new Data Protection Act that compliments the data protection regulations and the current Personal Data Act (‘applicable law’ in the following)

The following information on data protection will update you about when we store information, what we store and how we use it – naturally in compliance with the applicable law.
 

What is personal data?
Personal data is only collected when you volunteer it, for example when entering into a cooperation with Innovation Living. We may primarily collect the following categories of information: Name, home address, postal code and city, telephone number, mobile number, email address etc. Information about the name, address, etc. of shareholders and / or partners does not concern an actual person, and is therefore not covered by the GDPR.

We use your information to identify you as a customer and to deliver the services you have bought from us.

The personal data we collect will be stored on our servers and a filed in a log.
 

Data retention, how long Innovation Living keeps your data
To make sure we meet our legal data protection and privacy obligations, we only hold on to your information for as long as we actually need them for the purposes of maintaining the agreement.

When buying a service from Innovation Living, your personal data is used as documentation until the service is paid and delivered, and/or until a possible deadline for withdrawal og payment has expired.

During the current agreement, the information Innovation Living has collected about you is stored on their server, after which the personal data is filed.

Typically, we will retain your data for a minimum of five years from the end of the financial year to which the material relates. When the stored information is no longer relevant and Innovation Living is no required to store it, the personal information about you will be deleted.
 

What does Innovation Living use your personal data for?
The personal data we collect about you in connection with our agreement is primarily used for customer management, including but not limited to the fulfillment of our agreement along with mailing of your invoice.

Your personal data will not be disclosed to third-parties; however, your contact information may be forwarded to our business partners if we require their assistance to meet the agreement.

Other disclosure to third-parties is only permitted if applicable law allows the disclosure of personal information.
 

Your right to access your personal data
As a customer at Innovation Living you are entitled at all times to be told what information about you we are processing, where it originates, and what we are using it for.

You are also entitled to request and receive personal information about yourself that you have submitted to Innovation Living (Data portability). You are also entitled to object to the collection and processing of your personal data.
 

The right to correct your personal data
You are at any time entitled to have incorrect personal information we are processing about you corrected.
 

The right to have your personal data deleted
You are entitled to have personal data about yourself deleted by Innovation Living if the company does not continue to have a legitimate interest in storing your personal information.

However, please note that if Innovation Living according to applicable law is required to store and keep your personal information, you are not entitled to require having your personal information deleted.
 

Protection of your personal data
Your personal data must be kept safe and confidential according to applicable law. The personal data you provide will be stored in Innovation Living’s IT-system.

Innovation Living’s security measures are continuously monitored to determine whether personal data is handled properly and according to your rights as a customer.


Amendments of guidelines for processing your personal data
Innovation Living reserves the right to update and amend the guidelines in this policy. Whenever doing so, we will also correct the “most recently updated” date at the bottom of the document. Guidelines will be reviewed and amended yearly.
